Because of the fire rate, EOD is also useless against tanks. Even if it can't hit you directly (because you're in a building and it's firing through a door or window) you're still almost always going to be killed by it because it can wound and flinch/stun you with its splash damage and then fire follow up shots so fast that you can't heal or run away. With the way it is now, you're simply at the whims of any tank if it starts firing on you. They're tanks, they should pack a serious punch, however, they shouldn't be one-hit killing machines that are impossible to get away from or defeat once they've spotted you. Leave their damage and splash area alone, but reduce their fire rate. Keep in mind, these changes will push the use of the IAV and the APC towards being used for the purpose of pushing, capturing, and defending the objectives in Ground War. I've done a lot of thinking about the issue and below I'm going to list the changes I would make and give a brief explanation as to why I'd make those changes. Because of this, I don't think any nerfs or buffs made to the tanks will actually fix them they basically need a complete overhaul. The tanks are broken they're both overpowered in some areas (camping/sniping) and underpowered in other areas (pushing/defending objectives). A lot of arguments say they're overpowered and need some nerfs, others say they need buffed, and others still think they're overpowered but are afraid that any of the suggested changes will make them useless. Pretty much everything I've read about tanks in Modern Warfare is saying how they're broken.
